Color, Light, Glass and lead oops! and dirt. This is a stained glass lamp I made some time ago, waiting to be hanged. In the meantime it serves the purpose.
It’s one beautiful glass lamp more so since you made it yourself which makes it personal and priceless. You need to display such a work in your home. It makes one cool lamp piece. I have one oil painting I made a few years ago that greets anyone as they enter the foyer. Great subject of conversation everytime. The stained glass is one stunning textured piece.
wow! thank you for taking the time for your comment. Stained glass is something I do as a hobby. It is nice and complex. Anyways, the lamp is a bouquet of flowers and it serves as a wall lamp. I might post a picture of it sometime when the challenge is “lamps”?. 🙂
I love this photopgraph and stained glass is so beautiful. We have a piece of stained glass high above the front door of our house (which was built in the 1920’s) with the name the original owners gave to the house when it was built. It greets me every time I come home.
Thank you for you comments!
I started to work with stained glass as a way to manage stress. The truth is that stress is about the same level, but I did progress working with glass.
I don’t know why I didn’t think about it before, I could take some photographs of my work with glass and share it here.
Will do it soon.
Again, thank you for taking a look at my blog! 🙂
