For me, if I look at the photo thinking it should ‘feel’ reflective, then I think the darkness kinda gives it that look…but I am no expert so, sorry, I cannot help very much.
Beautiful!! I don’t think it’s too dark. I like darker trees against the lighter sky, and the same in the reflection. I suppose you could lighten it and see how you feel. My first reaction was a really big smile of pleasure though because I really like this photo.
