    • yeap! that is a recycling cage on a truck! Just imagine, Mexico is one of the top consumers of CSD (carbonated soft drinks)… in the world! fighting the first place with Brazil! oH my!

      • oh wow, what an honor to be at the top of the dead-food category! sugar/acid/empty calories — we are lucky here in ecuador that there’s an amazing abundance of fruits, and a small fresh fruit drink comes with the daily almuerzo for $2.50 to $3.50, depending on where you are in the country. a soup also comes with the meal. unfortunately they use a lot of sugar, when no sugar would be just as nice, like with toronja. it’s still a better choice than carbonated pop! my favorite is the mora.. no, maybe the maracuya.. or no, perhaps naranjilla… or tomate arbol…. i am very lucky to have those choices!

when i first saw that image in small format, i thought it was a display case full of brightly-wrapped candies!!! ja ja!

        have a good day,cedric!

  1. Those are a lot of details. Very cool picture! Amazing how ‘trash’ can look beautiful from the right angle, with the right person capturing the scene.
