Posts have their right time.
As a result of what I have seen lately (biological floating germs (I don’t want to name it, but you know what it is)) A week ago I chose to post this photo below.
Why I didn’t post it then? Because I misplaced my photographs and thought I had lost them. I couldn’t find my photos on any of the backups I had. Finally I found them in the memory card which is strange since I always wipe them off. Fortunately I missed it this time.
I have seen people complaining about the current situation, they think they are stuck at their places, with people they say they know too little (basically, their family) and how unfortunate they are. This shocked me deeply.
On difficult times we rely on relationships, we are never completely by ourselves. This is a long ride and some friends will ride along with us. We are blessed with the memories until our final destination.
I have seen so little faith, and hopelessness that I wanted to show that there is another path. A path of faith above reason, the kind you rely on that goes far beyond any thinking. We can’t go on complaining, we have to accept with confidence the situations we face, knowing that we are going to make it through. We are not victims, and if we have that feeling then we have to fight it back to take control of what we can do, and that is taking care of ourselves. Bad situations can bring the worst on us, but also the best, we only have to choose if we want to be brave or if we want to be at the mercy of the elements.
This is the Cristo de Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I took this photo on a very cloudy day, a very bad day for taking pictures. I was across the other mountain at the Sugar-loaf, a 5.72 km, (3.55 mi) distance. This picture couldn’t have been possible without the bad weather. You see, you can always take advantage from a challenging situation and it is up to you.
