The table of the wine tasting.
My cousin has an impressive wine cellar. It is built like a compass silhouette.
You are seeing West side and I am taking the photo from the East . One enters the room from South. The four directions are basically the same with the exception that one has the entrance.
Every bottle is labeled with country of origin and type of grape.
Well yes, it was my BDay. Four decades plus some months. Many not that much months.
Great to have friends celebrate with with me and with a very special one.
Don’t you dare count the candles! The only thing I can point out is that all fit in the small pie. A little Tight but fitted.

Giving up is an option? it is.
Never giving up is an option? yes.
It will all depend on where we want to go. It is easy to keep the status quo, hard is keeping moving forward. One can stop and stay, others can stop, rest, and continue.
At the end all of us will see how far we went when we look behind us. The only promise we have from life is there will be wind at our faces, and there will be a motor moving our desires, (Note the OM symbol down at the rear part of the VW Wagon), and if we are lucky, we will have good company.

One of my hobbies, stained glass. Once I saw a friend working with glass, that is when I literally fell in love. (with the crafting). I thought it was easy and that I was made to it. It took me a while to learn that it was not as easy as I thought!
Took me years to learn and I think I did it well. Here are some photos of the process of this piece, from the finished one to the starting steps.
Stained Glass Doves. (30 centimeters diameter)
The design. So very important to have good design. If it is well performed you have a pretty good chance that it will turn out good. In this step you will see if the piece is doable or impossible.
For this one,in order to keep the dove balanced I drew one and then I transport it to make 3 match.
After the drawing is finished, you make 2 copies of it on cardboard. One will be the guide for assembly and the other will be cut into pieces to be used as patterns over the glass, and the cut it.
Once all the pieces are cut they are refined (cut all excedents to make them match to the cardboard pattern), to be covered with copper foil and start putting the puzzle together, one by one….
Once they are all together, you start soldering… There are some other steps, but I will just stop here. Don’t want to get you bored with details.
This is an actual picture with an “Attic” filter. It is in Aguascalientes a state in Mexico know for its bullfighting predilections.

This is the Nevado de Toluca’s crater, an inactive volcano, luckily.

Mexico City, Polanco area. A fancy spot for businesses and hotels, museums and restaurants.
Lower left corner is the Hard Rock Cafe. Extreme left in the middle, Chapultepec Park. Top right, Reforma Avenue.
