Contrasts! I am always amazed by contrast! I thought about this Donkey-MiniCooper for this challenge because many times what is missing is something between things. There are always extrems and what best example as this fancy car in a residential zone and a pair of donkeys carrying wood to be sold for the chimneys in the neighborhood! There should always be balance…
Euphorbia pulcherrima. Come again?
This is better known in other countries as Poinsettia. In Mexico is also known as Noche Buena. But I guess you did’t know it is originally from Mexico and Central America?
It was first introduced into the US in 1825 by Joel Roberts Poinsett first United States Minister to Mexico (Wikipedia).
Well, now this flower belongs to the world!
There are so many places where to go Mountain Biking in Mexico. This is the sport I do and like the most. Is just like life itself. It has so many challenges and is up to you how you decide to go through them…
It gives you many faces: from beautiful landscapes to mud or to hills…
…AND… you can be with friends and learn from them and their advices… or not..
I like to think of it as an array of opportunities. Sometimes you will fall, then get up and try again….
..sometimes you will be in a group or alone.. But you will always have yourself and when looking back one realizes how far one has gone.
I have been nominated for the The Liebster Blog Award by Cee Neuner. Which by the way makes me very happy 🙂
I started my blog as a way to share my hobby, photography. Later I was able to see others bloggers sharing their work too, from which I have learned more and more each day.
The Liebster Blog Award
Liebster is a German word that means beloved or favorite.
This is what is needed to accept the award:
- Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
- Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
- Give your top 5 picks for the award
- Inform your top 5 by leaving a comment on their blog.
- Post the award on your blog.
I know there are so many bloggers out there and choosing is so hard! but what I know is that this is a way to create networking that will soon reach every single one of us.
I enjoy browsing through many many blogs…
So, my five nominee’s for The Liebser Blog Award are:
3. Ruth E Hendricks Photography
4. Didi-Licious
Keep in mind, one’s start can be followed by thousands of steps beside you!!
Yesterday I was driving near home and all of the sudden I spotted a strange light. Mexico City is well known for sightings of UFOs. I know this is strange for many people, mostly for the ones that are not close to these kind of events. Be it or not a flying saucer, let you be the judge. The lights at first were going horizontally, later it took a dive to finally take a curved left. You will see that if you compare the second photograph with the last one.
I also searched on the internet to find out if someone else had seen the same, (just to make sure I was not going crazy) and found a video recorded in August same year with the same light a saw. (Now it makes two crazy heads!).
UPDATE: Found more videos about this happening at: Germany,Japan,Chile, Ibiza,Cusco. Links at the bottom of this post.
Compare second vs. last to see the different directions it took, and at the bottom the link to the video with a similar objetct.
More videos of the same phenomenon at:
This one is from Mexico:
Germany
Chile
Ibiza
Japan
Cusco
I have been learning about perceptions, from right and wrong among many other things. Sometimes I think about what should I expect from others and get disappointed because it never comes. What one sees as natural and normal might not be as such for another person. So the best is to expect nothing and being surprised when you receive from whom you never thought you would.
As this truck seems to be on the wrong way, it is really being towed. Are we being towed and seen as being on the wrong way? At the end, that will be for you and only you to figure out.
